This site is powered by several Microsoft technologies:

• The news search uses the Bing News Search API.
• The news search result data is stored in Azure Cosmos DB.
• The images are stored in Azure Blob Storage.
• It uses Azure Cognitive Services to check language and profanity.
• All of the above is hosted in the backend in Azure Functions.
• The frontend is hosted in an Azure static website.
• The frontend uses Azure CDN for caching and TLS certificate management.
• Usage analytics is with Application Insights.
• All of this is built and deployed using GitHub Actions.
• DNS is using Azure DNS.
• I could have bought the domain from Azure App Service domains, but instead chose to use my favorite domain registrar, Joker.com.

The word cloud image is rendered using word_cloud, and since that's written in Python, it's hosted in a Python Azure Function.

The word cloud image is posted daily to Facebook and Instagram.
